But also a country that is increasingly facing rising sea levels, xtreme weather and lack of space.
How can we rethink the future? What if we don't just fight the water, but also start to live on it?
Margo van den Brink, associate professor of Water and Planning, conducts research into living
on the water. She is working on a new interdisciplinary research project, Floating Future,
which is funded by NWO. The central question is how we can work together to lay the
foundations for a floating future.
