Lustrum in photos
1909-1929

To help you get into the spirit of the upcoming lustrum from 21 to 25 May: a selection of photos of celebrations in the years 1909-1929 from the image library of the Groninger Archives. In those years, the celebrations were often big, not only at the university, but throughout the whole city. Especially the 300th anniversary celebrations in 1914 with a royal visit, masquerades, open-air games, and sports competitions was remarkable.
